Sasori Cosplay Otakon 2012

Ughh this is so late it's not even funny! I meant to post this right after Otakon but well I guess life happened. So this was my Akatsuna no Sasori cosplay from Naruto Shippuden. I was one of like three Sasori's there but I was the only one who was the correct height! Horray for short people! So here's some pictures they aren't the best but I'll try to explain what i did to make it.

So this is me and my cosplay in one of my pastures. The pants I made myself same with the shirt and the shoe protectors. I bought the wig, shoes, and jacket because i ran out of time to make them.

So this is me and a group of Naruto cosplayers that wanted a picture with me. The Kakuzu was too short but it was fine. Here you can see my shirt better and sort of see the white wrap around my middle that Sasori has.

Before the photoshoot in the 97 degree heat. I was dying in that stupid cloak. I feel bad for my friend Ed though I made him hold the parasol and my bag as he stood there waiting for me to be done.

So here's my friend Taylor in her Sexy-no-jutsu Sasori Rave cosplay next to me in my Sasori cosplay. My makeup is gone at this point since it was in the late afternoon and I had yet to re-do it. On the plus side you can see my white stomach wrap thingy better.

All in all it was an amazing convention. I made the shirt out of cotton along with the pants out of sweatpants material. The shoe covers were just hockey socks I cut to fit and the wig I bought from Wig Fashion I believe. It's a great wig and is really good quality! I did have to do some styling after the con once I realized that it was much too long for my head size but it fits perfect now.
